Now we can only accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover and American Express cards, no gift card or prepaid card will be accepted. For some payments, we may do security verification to protect the card holders. In this case, we will use the Message section in your account (after login) to communicate with you until all issues are cleared. Your order will be on hold for up to 7 days before being canceled.

As an online parts reseller, we can only accept online orders which are directly placed on CarPartsWebStore.com. We cannot take phone/fax/mail orders.

Tax will be calculated in checkout process after you provide shipping address.

Order Processing

After we receive an order (including payment security verification), it typically takes 1-5 business days to process the order and get it ready for shipping. During the order processing, we will send messages into your account (after you login) for issues including but not limited to: price change, part availability, shipping cost. After the order gets shipped, the transit time will depend on the shipping speed you have selected when placing the order.

Part availability is always the biggest question in auto parts retail. There are normally 300,000 to 1,000,000 unique part numbers for a car make like GM or Toyota, but dealership normally stocks 3000 to 10000 part numbers in inventory due to the space. If the part you ordered is not in inventory, it will be obtained from various PDCs (Parts Distribution Center) nationwide, or even overseas (Japan, Germany etc.). In this case, we will send message into your account (after you login) regarding longer lead time and we will wait for your response.

Part accuracy is another big issue in auto parts retail. You may look up a part number from various part catalogs on the web, or from car dealers, or body shops. Whoever diagnosed your car and gave you the part number will be responsible for the correctness and accuracy. As an auto parts reseller, we can only make sure we deliver the parts as you ordered. We cannot guarantee that the part in your order will fit your car or repair your car.


We can only ship to the 48 contiguous states and Alaska, Hawaii. We cannot ship to PO Boxes, APOs, FPOs, or any other country. We use various shipping companies: UPS, FedEx, USPS, DHL, and AGS. Our order processing system will automatically determine on which shipping company to use.

Please note several items on our site are deemed oversized or have unusual dimensions as defined by shipping company. Shipping charges for such items may be more than expected or quoted in your order. Is such case, we will send a message your account (after you login) to inform you about the appropriate shipping costs.

If you ordered parts from multiple car makes (GM, Ford, Honda, Toyota, Nissan etc.), we will create a shipment for each car make and we cannot combine those packages. Because all parts are shipped directly from authorized dealer or manufacture warehouse that does not carry other makes’ part. Those shipments will be initiated separately and mostly likely to arrive to you at different times. We will send you tracking numbers once the shipments are created.

One order can have parts from up to 9 makes.

Big order (high priced order) may require signature service from shipping company.


You can cancel order at any time before we ship out the package. If your order contains parts for multiple makes (Honda parts, Toyota parts, BMW parts etc.), package for each make could be created at different times. In another word, you can consider the entire order having multiple “sub-orders”. For example, in an order with Ford, Nissan and Toyota parts, our Nissan warehouse may ship out package before Ford warehouse, and the Toyota warehouse ships out at last, so the order has three sub-orders, each was handled and shipped separately by its own warehouse.

 As long as the package has not been shipped out, you can request to cancel the “sub-order”. We will deduct or refund the difference amount. If you want to cancel order after the packages are shipped, you will have to contact us to get a RA (Return Authorization) number. See “Return” section for more details.


An RA (return authorization) number must accompany all returns, no exceptions. Contact us to request the RA number. We will email you the RA number and Ship-To address once your request is approved. The return request must be issued to us within 30 days from the shipment delivery date.

Once we authorize your request, Return shipment must be received within 30 days.

To be eligible for replacement or refund, returned parts must be in their factory original packaging and shipping box, with the original manufacturer information labels and part numbers attached, including all associated accessories, paperwork, etc. The original factory box must not be marked on or used as a shipping box back to us.

Restocking fees are charged for any items returned that are not the result of error on our side.
Restocking fees are 20% of the actual product price and the customer is responsible for the return shipping charges.

If the reason for return is determined to be our mistake, mishandling or otherwise deemed our responsibility, a refund in full for the part or parts involved will be issued and return shipping will also be covered. The original shipping charge is not refundable unless the return is due to our mistake. If you refuse delivery or the carrier returns a package because you provided an invalid/undeliverable shipping address, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Please note that there are items that cannot be returned for any reason. These include repair manuals, CD-ROMS, custom made products or anything that allows you to download a program to the vehicle. Electrical (i.e. lights, relays, switches) parts cannot be returned as well. Special order parts, time-sensitive products and products that require longer wait time than usual to be ordered cannot be returned.

Core Deposit

For parts like alternators and master cylinders, the basic body (a complex and expensive metal casting) usually is very durable. But components, like bushings and seals, can wear out and cause the part to fail. Replacing just the worn components can be very cost-effective, helps protect the environment, and produces very reliable results.

Remanufactured parts usually have a core charge. The core charge is a deposit that the manufacturer charges us, and which we pass on to you, to encourage the return of old parts to be remanufactured. You pay the core charge when you place your order. If you return the old part to us, we refund the core charge.

All core returns are handled within the standard return process requiring an RA number. All handling and shipping fees are to be paid for by the customer. Once your core has been verified to meet core standards credit will be issued against the original purchased core only.

Cores must be complete, re-buildable, fit the same vehicle application and be returned in the box the remanufactured part came in. This means the part you send back needs to have whatever components (like pulleys) came on the remanufactured part. The box helps identify the part and proves to the manufacturer that the core replaces one of their products. Obviously, the core won't be working well (or you wouldn't have replaced it) but it can't be smashed, rusted solid, or otherwise unusable.

Any cores that do not meet packaging or core standards will not be eligible for credit and will be disposed of after customer notification. The customer will have the option of receiving back his original core only or authorize scraping and disposal of core after this notification. It will be the responsibility of the customer for any freight, disposal, and handling fees incurred by returning unacceptable cores, not to exceed overall core value.


Personal information, such as your name, postal and e-mail address or telephone number, is private and confidential. Accordingly, the personal information you provide is accessible only by designated staff, and is used only for the purposes for which you provide the information (such as to reply to your request or enquiry).

Personal information will not be released to third parties, except if release is required by law or is pertinent to judicial or governmental investigations or proceedings. There are no other circumstances under which we will provide or sell personal information to third parties.


CarPartsWebStore.com will not be liable for any damages of any kind arising from the use of this site or products obtained or ordered from this site, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, punitive or consequential damages.
